About NTSE

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program in India. It aims to identify and nurture talented students and provide them with financial assistance to pursue their education. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of a competitive examination that is conducted every year at the national and state levels.

The NTSE scholarship is awarded to students who have a strong academic record and display exceptional skills in areas such as Science, Mathematics, Social Science, and English. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1250 per month for Class XI and XII, and Rs. 2000 per month for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The scholarship is renewable every year till the completion of the degree course or as per the norms of the scheme.

To be eligible for the NTSE, a student must be studying in Class X in a recognized school in India. The examination is conducted in two stages: Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 1 is conducted by the State/UT governments, and students who qualify for Stage 1 are eligible to appear for Stage 2, which is conducted by NCERT.

The NTSE examination consists of two papers: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The MAT paper tests the students’ ability to solve problems, while the SAT paper tests their academic knowledge in subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and English.

The NTSE scholarship is a great opportunity for talented students to pursue their education without any financial burden. It not only provides financial assistance but also encourages them to excel academically and pursue their dreams.
